The proximity of vineyards to forest areas has proven to be a natural barrier to reduce the threat of large fires in inhabited areas. But what is the risk assumed by the owners of these vineyards? Is fire damage to your crops a shared responsibility? Agriculture and, specifically, viticulture is a support tool in the extinguishing phase of a fire that the security forces appreciate and, in many cases, allows to attack the fire with more comfort and more guarantees of success.
